The NFL issues compensatory picks each year in the draft. This year the picks fall between the 3rd and 7th rounds. Total 23 teams got 32 compensatory picks. How the picks are distributed is based on a formula that takes into account free agent movement between outgoing and incoming players. Here is the list of picks that will be given in April:
