Ravens select Colorado’s CB Jimmy Smith: Analysis: The Ravens made no secret in who they were targeting and going to draft. Jimmy smith is a big physical corner [+] 1st round picks 23-26: Eagles draft OG Watkins: Eagles address a need! 23. Eagles select Baylor’s OG Danny Watkins: Analysis: Watkins fits the Eagles aggressive style of play. Eagles weakness is the OG position and they solidified that position with this pick. 24. [+] 1st round picks 19-22: The G-Men get a Prince!: Welcome to the Big Blue, Prince, you better not be another Fabian Washington! 19. Giants select Nebraska’s CB Prince Amukamara: Analysis:  Great move by the Giants in selecting Amukamara. Amukamara was selected to go [+] 1st round picks 15-18: Dolphins get help on the offensive line in drafting Pouncey: Pouncey instantly upgrades the Dolphins offensive line! 15. Dolphins select Florida’s C/OG Mike Pouncey: Analysis:  Pouncey is a great run blocker and adequate pass blocker. He plays with a nasty mean streak and addresses a [+] 1st round picks 11-14: Vikings shockingly select FSU’s QB Ponder: 11. Houston Texans select DE/DT J.J. Watt: Analysis:  Watt is an every-down player who has a great motor. Watt hustles until the whistle blows. I think he fits great into the Texans 3-4 scheme. Time to show [+] 1st round picks 8-10: Titans select QB Locker: This is what Locker does best! 8. Tennessee Titans select Washington’s QB Jake Locker: Analysis:  The first shocker of the night comes with the Titans selection of mobile Huskie QB Jake Locker. San Francisco 49ers select Missouri’s DE/OLB Aldon Smith: Analysis:  This is a risky pick for a team who has much bigger needs at the CB and QB position. Smith is a tweener and is inconsistent.
