CFL games will now be shown on NFL Network

By Dominique Wise on July 1, 2010

Hopefully American fans will watch some CFL on the NFL Network

Great news die-hard global football fans, the NFL Network announced that it will televise 14 regular-season games from the Canadian Football League. The first game is Thursday with a rematch of last year’s Grey Cup Championship between the Montreal Alouettes and Saskatchewan Roughriders. I myself am excited to watch some CFL football. There are some former NFL and NCAA players who are currently playing in the CFL. Players such as Jared Zabransky, Ken Dorsey, Cleo Lemon, Skylar Green, Jamal Robertson, Lavar Glover, Chris Leak, O.J. Santiago and many more. Most CFL games are pretty high scoring and the field is a little bit longer. But the game is a track meet. Teams move the ball up and down the field. It will be good to see some of the former NFL players play. Here is the league schedule for NFL Network:

Thursday Montreal at Saskatchewan 7 p.m.
Saturday, July 10 Calgary at Hamilton 1 p.m.
Saturday, July 17 Edmonton at Saskatchewan 4 p.m.
Saturday, July 24 Edmonton at Winnipeg 6:30 p.m.
Saturday, July 31 Hamilton at Saskatchewan 6:30 p.m.
Friday, Sept. 10 Calgary at Edmonton 9 p.m.
Friday, Sept. 17 Calgary at Saskatchewan 9 p.m.
Friday, Sept. 24 Montreal at Winnipeg 8 p.m.
Friday, Oct. 1 Montreal at Calgary 9 p.m.
