Imagine Bowe and Megatron Johnson on the same team, it could happen if the Lions want to take that next step
The Targets:
RB Cedric Benson
RB Michael Bush
WR Dwayne Bowe
WR Vincent Jackson
T Demetrius Bell
T Jared Gaither
LB LeRoy Hill
LB Stephen Tulloch
LB Mario Williams
CB Brandon Carr
CB Aaron Ross
CB Brent Grimes
CB Cortland Finnegan
The Solutions:
Michael Bush would be an excellent pickup for the Lions running game. He runs tough and is the power back that the Lions need.
The addition of WR Dwayne Bowe would make the Lions the most dangerous offense in the NFL. Bowe and Megatron Johnson would be the most dangerous and feared WR duo in the NFL. Plus I feel that WR Nate Burleson is strictly a slot receiver and is not a number two receiver. Imagine the Lions receiving core with Johnson, Bowe, Burleson and Young.
T Jared Gaither is usually a Rt but is versatile to play both tackle positions. He is still young but will be an upgrade over ancient tackle Jeff Backus who struggled mightily in 2011.
The Lions need to resign LB Stephen Tulloch to a long term deal. Tulloch led the Lions with a 111 tackles. He is a tackling machine.
CB Brent Grimes is the best cover corner on the free agent market and if the Lions signed him he would be their best cover corner.
