Fans, welcome to the don’t, don’t believe the hype edition. This is strictly for the players who hail from the over-ration nation. This is a nation needs to get “Dropped Off”. These over-raters have been in the league farther than they should. So lets get right to the list and see who these players are.
1. RT Cornell Green (Bills): Green definitely tops the over-raters list. Green is known for his false starts. He can’t go a game without having a false start. His pass blocking technique is horrible. He struggles big time against speed rushers. He is a decent blocker, key word is decent. He has played for five NFL teams. He got “Dropped Off” by the Raiders only to be picked up by the Bills. The Bills signed him to a 3 year deal worth $12 million. Bills organization, please tell me why? Why sign an over-rater like Cornell Green? I guess you guys are committed to being a failure within the next couple of years.
2. WR Troy Williamson (Jaguars): You know what is so sad that future Hall of Fame WR’s Terrell Owens and Marvin Harrison can’t get jobs but bummy whummy players like Troy Williamson do. Williamson has been one of the all-time bust. He was drafted seventh overall in the 2005 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings. So far in his career he only has 87 catches for 1,131 yards and 4 touchdowns. Those stats are horrible and sad. Those are definitely get “Dropped Off” stats. But the last two seasons he has looked very solid in the preseason, I remember a preseason game last season where he had 170 yards in the first half. But fans don’t believe the hype because he finished the regular season with 3 catches for 34 yards. Once again fans don’t believe the preseason hype of a player.
3. WR Sinorice Moss (Giants): I really didn’t want to do it, but I had too. Moss definitely belongs on this list. He has underachieved in the worst way. The Giants drafted Moss in the second round of the 2006 draft. They had high hopes for him. They wanted him to be their slot receiver. Its like every preseason he looks good, but he just can’t seem to get on the field during the regular season. Moss is a burner and excels in cut back routes. The probably with Moss is that he is inconsistent and struggles with catching the ball from time to time. I just don’t see Moss making the Giants roster this year. Moss so far in his career has 39 catches for 421 yards and 3 touchdowns.
4. CB Antonio Cromartie (Jets): Yep Jets fans Cromartie belongs on this list. You will see this year. Cromartie hasn’t had a great season since the 2007 season when he had 10 interceptions. Cromartie does have the talent to be a good corner in the NFL for years to come but he is just too inconsistent. He isn’t a great tackler and he talks more smack than actually making plays on the field. I’m telling you Jets fans watch this season and count how many times Cromartie gets beat in coverage and the supposedly tackle he was suppose to make.
5. CB Nate Clements: (49ers): Clements is one of the biggest NFL thief’s ever. In 2007 he stole an eight-year, $80 million with $22 million guaranteed deal with the San Francisco 49ers. He has not lived up to the contract whatsoever. I have never seen a corner get beaten so much like Clements has. Fans just You Tube the game in which the 49ers played the Cowboys a few years ago and watch how Terrell Owens abused him. Clements is no where in the top 10 of the best corners in the NFL. His best season was in 2004 when he had 6 interceptions when he was with the Bills. Clements needs to be moved to FS.

Shutdown corner huh? I can't believe the 49ers paid you $80 million and you constantly get beat like this. Like I said shutdown corner huh?
Fans this is just part 1, part 2 is on the way!
