Happy Birthday DT Vikings Pat Williams!

I’m sure you are probably asking, “Now why is Alisha giving Pat Williams a birthday shot out and she doesn’t do that for any other players?”  I’ll tell ya why, this birthday is special!  Pat is 38 today and the oldest defensive tackle in the NFL with a record high of 646 total tackles and 453 solo’s.  He’s been in the NFL for 13 years.

Pat is known for forming the “Williams Wall” with Vikings Offensive Lineman Kevin Williams which is a technique that makes it nearly impossible for the opposition to consistently gain yardage between the tackles.  Williams earned his 1st Pro Bowl honors in his 10th NFL season, and was named 2003 winner of the Ed Block Courage Award by former Buffalo Bills teammates.
