Hasta la Vista to USCs BCS Championship, baby!

By Charles "MisterC" Shuford on June 7, 2011

Today, Monday June 6, 2011, the University of Southern California was stripped of its 2004 Bowl Championship Series National Championship.  Every football fan knows the shenanigans that has unfolded the past couple of years involving the former Mr. Kardashian, I mean Reggie Bush.

"Man, I better not be doing all this running for nothing..."

During the 2004 and 2005 college football season, Mr. Bush accepted extra benefits that the NCAA viewed as naughty.  As a result of Reggie’s naughty actions, the NCAA ruled that he was ineligible during those two seasons.  Trying to save face, USC appealed the NCAA sanctions and on May 26 the NCAA denied USC’s appeal.  Part of the NCAA sanctions on USC included a two-year postseason ban and a…  you know what, who cares?  I don’t care, do you care?  I know Reggie doesn’t care, he’s an active tweeter and hasn’t mentioned anything about it.  I know the general public doesn’t care, the 2004 season was ages ago.  It was before the iPhone, do you remember what life was like before the iPhone, I know I don’t.  Since you don’t care, Reggie doesn’t care and I don’t care, I think I will end the article right here and get back to watching Rep. Anthony Weiner make a fool of himself.

"You can keep the BCS ring, I'll take the booty!"
