Jaguars sign QB Trent Edwards

By Dominique Wise on September 28, 2010

"Are you serious, I go from one bad team to another, well at least I have a shot at starting again"

This is a good not great move by the Jaguars. Right now starting QB David Garrard’s erratic play (in 3 games this season 4 ints, 5 touchdowns for 448 yards) has shown that he is not the answer in Jacksonville. So is Trent Edwards the answer, who knows? But he is the best option on the free agent market and he is still young (26 years old). Edwards struggled this season in Buffalo, but who doesn’t! The Bills have a bad offensive line that can’t block for the President if he played. Maybe Edwards might need a new change of scenery and why not Jacksonville. I know the Jaguars are horrible this year and their offensive line isn’t much better than Buffalo’s but right now I think Edwards decision making is better than Garrard’s and so is his accuracy. It’s time for the Jaguars to regulate Garrard to the bench.

"What the hell are you doing, what was that?"
