By Rudy Haynesworth on June 26, 2010

"I thought it was the NFL Hall of Fame calling"

Joe Horn played six seasons with the New Orleans Saints and was selected to the Pro Bowl four times as a Saint.  He officially retired on June 25th after ceremoniously resigning with the team.  He also played for the Chiefs and Falcons in his 12 year NFL career.

Horn played his last and only NFL season with Atlanta in 2007 after signing a four year $15 million deal with the Falcons as a free agent.  He is the New Orleans Saints all-time single season leader in receiving yards (1399).  He holds both the franchise single season record of TDs (11) and career (45) .  Horn was inducted into the Saints Hall of Fame in May of 2010.
