Moss Un-retires

By Rudy Haynesworth on February 13, 2012

Randy Moss played in the NFL for 13 years.  He started his career with the Vikings and retired after the 2010 season playing for the Tennessee Titans.  Moss has been one of the greatest receivers in NFL history.  His 23 receiving TDs in 2007 are still an NFL record.  Moss came out of retirement today on his 35th birthday.

Let’s be honest, Moss finnished off his career on a bad note.  He played for the Patriots, Vinkings, and Titans in 2010.  He only had 28 receptions.  He averaged over 73 receptions per season throughout his career.

There will be many teams that are interested in Moss’ services.  His old team the Patriots would be a good fit.  The Jets, Bears, and Redskins could all use a 6′4″ receiver that still runs a 4.3.  Plaxico Burress’ success would almost be a similar player to consider as to why teams in the league will give Moss another look.  Moss is still capable of over 30 receptions, but his head and heart have to be in the game.
