Football fans, this Sunday is our favorite day of the year as Super Bowl XLVI takes place. This Super Bowl featuring the New York Giants and the New England Patriots should be a classic round two matchup. The Patriots are favored by 3 points in this game. But bookmakers and die hard gamblettes are drooling over this matchup because the Giants are the underdogs and are the hottest team. Fans know I am a die hard Giants fan and I can’t root against my team. I just believe the Giants are the better team.
What scares me about this game as a Giants fan is that we are playing against Tom Brady and his two unbelievable TE’s. I don’t need to say their name because just saying their names scares me. I can so see Brady and his tow TE’s sets tearing up the Giants all game. Because we all know the Giants weakness is covering TE’s, especially those that can run, catch and make yards after the catch. But what I like about the Giants in this game is their balance. I look for them to be balance in this game by mixing up the run and the pass. Look for QB Eli Manning and his trio of receivers to be very effective and exploit an average at best Patriots secondary. The Giants need to stay balance and keep Brady and co. off the field.
The Giants pass rush will be able to put enough pressure on Brady and force him into making some bad throws which will eventually lead into some turnovers. I look for Bradshaw to have a big game in rushing and catching. Bradshaw didn’t play in the matchup between the Giants and Patriots earlier in the season, but will be ready to contribute this Sunday.
My Prediction: Giants 31-27
