Riddle me this Raider Nation, should Antonio Pierce of the NY Giants be the Raiders coach in the near future. He sure did one hell of a coaching job as the Raiders shockingly beat the Philadelphia Eagles 13-9. The Raiders played inspired football against the Eagles, one week after Pierce said to the media that the Raiders looked like a bunch of amateurs and not a professional team. But the Raiders got back to playing Raider football which is physical and pound the ball. The Raiders dominated the Eagles in the trenches on both sides of the ball. Donovan McNabb barley had time to throw the ball as the Raiders pressured him all game. The most shocking outline of this game was the fact that the Raiders out blitzed the Eagles who are known for their consistent and don’t stop blitzes. The Raiders had six sacks and 16 hurries as McNabb was on the run most of the game. Great job by the Raiders defense! Speaking of the Raiders, lets give a clap and shoutout to QB Jamarcus Russell for having his best game of the season as he threw for 224 yards and 1 TD. Now only if Russell can limit the mistakes and just manage the game, the Raiders will see more victories. A .500 record is not out of the reach for this team. Raiders players should play Pierce’s comments before they play every game!
