Ndamukong Suh will be suspended at least two games for his outburst against the Green Bay Packers on Thanksgiving. As we have already reported, Suh was ejected in the 3rd quarter of the 27-15 loss to the undefeated Packers. It seemed that Detroit folded once he left the game.
Suh Has racked up 12 personal foul penalties throughout his two year career. His first response was that he was not trying to hurt the player he stomped on and that if he was trying to hurt him he would’ve got after the quarterback, like he did. But later on appeared to have remhorse by saying,
” I apologize to my teammates and my fans and my coaches for putting myself in a position to be misinterpreted and taken out of the game .”
Suh was recently named dirtiest player in the league in a poll given to NFL players. He contacted commissioner Roger Godell to apologize for his actions. But, it appears that he will face some kind of suspension and the Lions have a hot New Orleans team on a short week after beating the Giants on Monday night.
Defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth was suspended five games for his similar stomp of an offensive lineman Andre Gurode in 2006 after his helmet was removed. There is no doubt, that Suh may be out of control but he also has created some kind of reputation.
