T.O. has successful offseason surgery on torn ACL, but what’s next for T.O.?

By Dominique Wise on June 28, 2011

Hope you can come back from ACL surgery this season!

In somewhat of breaking news wide receiver Terrell Owens,  had surgery to repair a torn ACL this offseason. Owens recovery time is estimated at about six months. Owens agent Drew Rosehaus told ESPN, “he’s many, many months into his recovery now. He’s doing fantastic.” He said Dr. James Andrews, who performed the surgery on Owens, was confident the 37-year-old receiver had a chance to play as soon as August. We shall see!

Now comes the question, is T.O. done? I don’t believe so, one thing T.O. has that most receivers don’t is heart. Plus T.O. stays in phenomenal shape and takes good care of his body. I understand that T.O. is 37, but he has been pretty healthy his whole career and he is more hungry than ever to get a Super Bowl ring. He will be back by midseason and I believe a contending team will give T.O. one more shot. Good luck T.O.!
