Thursday night slaughterhouse

By Dominique Wise on December 16, 2011

Can we say Thursday night #$% whooping!

As i predicted on Wednesday’s night’s radio show that Thursday night’s football game between the Falcons and Jaguars would be a blowout. The Falcons hammered the undermine Jaguars 41-14 in the Georgia Dome. Jaguars have all kinds of issue on both sides of the ball. Rookie franchise QB Blaine  Gabbert looks like a early holiday bust. But you know you can’t blame him. He doesn’t have any quality NFL WR’s to throw to.

On the other hand the Falcons are clicking at the right time. QB Matt Ryan threw for 226 yards with 3 touchdowns. DE John Abraham had 3 sacks and abused Jaguars T Guy Whimper all night long. The only positive for the Jaguars was the usual consistent RB Maurice Jones Drew who ran for 112 yards on 17 carries. The Falcons led this game 27-0 at halftime and steamrolled in the second half. I know this victory was against the Jaguars but what  a dominating performance for an 9-5 team who appears headed to the NFC playoffs.
